Annicia Adams Durka is a Textile designer, painter, illustrator and graphic designer.
Exploration and discovery are a big part of my design process. I’m always looking at things from a global perspective which drives my design direction and general esthetic. A bold use of color and texture are my favorite two elements to incorporate in design.
After earning a BA in History, I decided to make an extreme career change and attend FIT, the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I received my degree in Textile/Surface Design. This began my formal career as a textile designer.
Currently I am the Design Director of Woven Product at P/Kaufmann Fabrics where I have worked for 13 years. My 20 years of experience in textile design, sourcing, and woven product development for the home interior industry has led me around the globe.
